Today’s Simple Nature Sketch

Clusters of cup-shaped blooms are clinging to branches. Small coral colored flowers run rampantly from branch to branch. They provide much-needed nectar for the newly returned hummingbirds.

My son was the first one to notice their arrival as this bush is directly outside his bedroom window. He gets to observe this explosion of color daily. Not only did he witness the return of our much-loved hummingbirds, but also when our flowering quince burst into bloom!

How fun it is to witness the treasures spring brings after a long winter! An awakening world brings new hope and joy in small everyday moments. I hope you get to witness the beauty that surrounds you everyday!

Warmly,

Debbie
