Today’s Simple Nature Sketch

On my  walk today, my eye was drawn to these tiny red berries. They were intertwined with a small tree that grew close-by. Most of the leaves had  fallen away, leaving the berries visible as they clung to thin branches.

Time passes so swiftly. It seems like ages ago I was dreaming of summer greens and yearning for a plethora of floral color. As autumn moves on, colors fade and a crunching occurs beneath my feet. Before long a white dusting of snow will transform the weathered vegetation, allowing it to sparkle in delight.
